Photographer Lee Eunyeol constructs elaborate light installations that appear as if the night sky was flipped upside down onto the ground, creating beautiful glowing landscapes. The various colored lights resting on the earth’s cracks or lying between tall blades of grass represent glimmering stars and planets.

This is what my next project is going to stem from. I love the delicacy of the leaves she is sewing. For my interpretation however, I want to sew them in multiples to create undulating surfaces and tapestries for the home. One of the most beautiful things about the project to me is how they will decay with time. These sculptures will not be meant to last, but they will serve as a decaying wall piece.
